Darton College
Student Center Grand Opening
The All New Student Center at Darton College
On August 16, 2010, a crowd of more than 400 gathered to commemorate the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new student center at Darton College. Faculty, staff, community and state leaders were awestruck. The building is a masterpiece. Creative architectural design and master craftsmanship combined to create a sanctuary for the students at Darton College. Students can enjoy four bowling alleys, a massive indoor climbing wall, three racquetball courts, student study lounge areas, interaction areas, a table tennis area, a pool table area, TV and electronic gaming areas.
In the midst of the leisure and activity areas is a central commons area with a cyber café, a large commercial kitchen, a food court with four food venues including The Grille Company, Deli Depot Sandwiches, and Say Cheese Pizza, which has an authentic wood stove. The food venues are open to the public. All students, faculty, staff, and the community can enjoy eating and dining. Meals are served three times a day.
